Poem
What is this thing we call a HEART? We spend our entire lives talking about it. When a child is born and you gaze upon its beauty you say, Be still my HEART, The first thing the nurse does with this bundle of joy is place the baby over your HEART. You take the baby home and the comments from family and frijends are very HEART warming. You look at your husband the man who won your HEART in the first place and you remember the day he gave you his HEART, and you gave him your HEART right back. Your first child is a beautiful baby girl and you know she has won your HEART. You nurture her and watch her grow until she grows into a beautiful teenage girl, and you know she will come home one day and tell you she gave her HEART to some young man and you place your hand over your HEART and hope she won't be HEART broken. Yes there is another side to this HEART thing they are not all the same. A HEART can be full of love but it can also be a HEART filled with hate. You can have a joyful HEART or a HEART filled with sadness, but you can also be HEART broken. You can have a good HEART, or be HEART less. You can have a warm HEART or a cold HEART or HEART disease. You can have a happy HEART, or a sad HEART. People can take your HEART, steal your HEART. Give you a HEART ache or a HEART burn. You can have a song in your HEART. Or sit in HEART felt silence. You can give your HEART to someone, or someone can take your HEART away. Having said all of this your amazing HEART just keeps on beating. If your HEART hurts because somebody broke your HEART, the only one who can fix it is the person who broke your HEART in the first place. Of course there are other ways to heal your HEART. Close friends, family, your children, children in general will always warm your HEART. Everybody is given a HEART. You have to learn how to protect your HEART. Funny even when your HEART is broken into a million pieces you can still love the person who broke it with whatever pieces of your HEART remains. I could continue talking about the HEART, it is such an amazing organ of our body. It pumps life's blood through our veins which lets us know that with all we put our HEART through it still is there doing what a HEART does best. it loves us and let's us love others with all our HEART and soul. Many things have been written about the HEART, I hope this story has warmed your HEART, or at least made you smile. Please remember to warm your HEART but not your head. Listen to your HEART, Follow your HEART. Open your HEART, Trust your HEART, and when you love someone be sure you are always in way over your HEART. Last but certainly not least, make sure you give your HEART to the Lord. >> I paint pictures with words.i calbambi@gmail.com
