Poem
I prefer to suffer and die, Than to watch her live and cry, She is my past, my future and the reason why I breathe, She put the smile on my face, The sparkle in my eyes and the beat in my heart. I thought she loved me more than words could tell, In the depth of my soul she has always been, Here or there, near or far, My thoughts has always been with her, Since my life seem to be a jigsaw puzzle, I saw her as my missing piece. Her beauty overwhelms me beyond explanation, As I do wrap my arms around her irresistible and sexy body, Just like an ant trapped in a cobweb, I'm captured in her warm embrace, The touch of her lips, her tender caresses and her disarming smiles, Were all I longed for to survive. Today, I feel empty, hollowed and broken, My dreams have fled and hopes hard to define, I have no reason to face tomorrow, When the present is thronged with pangs of sorrow, The hurt is just so hard for me to bear, Initially, could it mean there was no love found? Maybe, I got to steal a little time from the swing of pendulum, A few minutes to think things over in my inner room, I better read between the lines of my poem, In case I need it again when I'm older in life, Since my blood is cold, my heart big but very asthenic, Now I’m depressed and still wonder why I loved in the first place.
