Broken whispers caress your cheek
If you were already dread would you stay here
Or would you lay on the bones of the dead
Forgotten and forsaken in this dark place

Thoughts ooze unbroken from your eyes
Creating a flesh replica without a soul
You were lost the moment words were spoken
So desolate but so full of yearning

Broken walls are just remnants
Of what was once truly resplendent
Our society needed a heart transplant
But there was nobody who cared

Liar, liar, dancing on the walls
Your tears foretold the fall of us all
Yet here we stood and made a mockery
Enthralled by our own debauchery
