He nailed the Buddha to the cross and sat baby Jesus under a fig tree

Not too strange a concept but the Lord would not overcome the apple

And Karma was suspended while Mary Magdalene disrespected levitation

A heretic neophyte maybe but one more opulent flounder makes a hot summer

‘Rise above it in providence’ but both guys still wore the ragged loin cloth


New age new dawn new recipe and no clothes on the naked lecherous emperor 

The days of dolorous hunger were over ‘inhibition would be suffering and death’

Smoulder rose from sizzling ashes as vultures eyed the feast of marginalization

The banks were happy but there were no food banks at the shore of the Styx 

I cannot lament the bombast of others but like them skinny and crisp anyway


God had mercy which was a close shave but he never skinned them alive

He stirred the cauldron smacked his lips put a log from the fig tree on the fire

Roasted the cross of salvation paired restitution and repaired evil disparity

Cannibalism is no mean feat but he nibbled away and was satiated for once

Destitution and overpopulation sorted in one fell swoop with novel cuisine


Now there was a purpose for everyone in the food chain of once starving minds
