my soul rides upon the winds of  memories
will touch your awareness  before you sleep
carried on into your dream of togetherness
once awake it’s there for you to keep

I will speak with you before you sleep
touch your arms to be embraced
no feeling of aloneness , no need to weep
closeness remains, no ending or space

no letters to write or phone calls to make
dreams will bring you to my side
at the end of your day you may take
the memories in the winds that ride
