Poem
The wind kept blowing and I don’t know why The sun forever glowing – that, I can’t deny The moon left for a while, for a little while Just smile away sorrow's style and leave it in the pile All you have to do is smile And run that extra mile The frozen, flowing snowflakes fell down She collided into the embrace of pale white ice The soundless slumber was upon the town Somebody told me life has an aftermath price An aftermath price…more or less… Please tell me it’s gonna be a sunny day It rings a billion bells that you’re gone today Remember that It’s never too late to believe Relieve the hopeless state of mine and don’t grieve Smile away the grief you feel daily Trial after trial, we embrace liberty Save me from oblivion's captivity inside Give me bravery to move on once more Subside from my side and let zeal abide Happiness lives in me now somehow Like an adequate key to the front door There’s more eternal encouragement in store The frozen, flowing snowflakes fell down She collided into the embrace of pale white ice The soundless slumber was upon the town Somebody told me life has an aftermath price An aftermath price…how can we make progress? Please tell me it’s gonna be a sunny day It rings a billion bells that you’re gone today Remember that It’s never too late to believe Relieve the hopeless state of mine and don’t grieve You have a few phone numbers to dial Or you can stay here with me for a while Let your dreams take flight You’re gonna be alright tonight Hold me up with all your might Shameless sunshine is beyond sight She collided into the embrace of pale white ice Somebody told me life has an aftermath price We are like bewildered, maze-worthy mice Someone also told me to break the ice, the ice And roll life's dice or I'll end up a living sacrifice All you have to do is smile And run that extra mile I call shotgun for a while Please tell me it’s gonna be a sweet, sunny day Save me from oblivion's captivity inside, I pray God is truly all-knowing The wind kept blowing The sun forever glowing
