We Were Not Meant To Travel This Earth Without Him

When God created Adam and then Eve, they had a marvelous fellowship and a closeness with HIM; the GOD of all creation! In the cool of the day, HE would come down and talk with them in the Garden!  We have no knowledge of how long this actually was happening so it could have gone on for many years.  But one day, that ole devil tempted Eve telling her that if she tasted the forbidden fruit, she would not die as the LORD had said, but GOD knows that in that day, your eyes would be opened and you shall be like a GOD.  So, she
saw that the tree was good for food and pleasant to the eyes and that it was desired to make one wise.   So she ate and gave it to her husband and he did eat to.  And, their eyes were opened and they then “saw” that their bodies need to be covered for the saw that they were naked.  What shame fell upon them and when the LORD came down, they heard HIS voice and they hid from the LORD!

Now, think of that!!!  That ole devil is still on this earth, still lying to us, still tempting us and trying to deceive us.  As a Christian or a church, we need to read GOD’s Word, digest it, memorize it, stand on it, quote it to the enemy when he comes lurking around, and most of all…. We need to believe it!  One of the other most important things is that we need to be, “FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES”!!  When we are saved, believe HIS Word, and stand on HIS Word, we have the right to put the devil to flight and put him under our feet!  We don’t want to
argue with him…. he knows the Bible more than we do but….he perverts it; never argue with him.  Quote the Word to him and command him to leave in JESUS’ name and he has to obey!  JESUS won the victory over him and HE gave us the authority to use HIS name and HIS WORD to win the victory over the enemy.  Praise GOD!  We should not give him one minute of our time to try to work his wiles on us.  Again, never think that you can win an argument with him or even listen to him…. he is a liar and he has had several thousand years of practice against people on this earth and deceiving them.  This is one
more point, we need to stay in Christian Fellowship, good strong right-on teaching of GOD’s Word, and a loving congregation is vital for overcoming evil… if he can divide us, he can conquer us.  I am sure you have heard of the statement, “divide and conquer”! Well, the ole devil is pretty good at this especially between a man and his wife.

When my husband and I have had a battle with the devil, we tell each other what is happening and then we pray for each other…. That always puts that ole serpent on the run!  Remember this one to; wherever two or more are gathered in MY name, there am I in the midst!  HE knows all about the struggles that we face as HE had to be tempted in all areas as we are, but HE was tempted and did not sin!  When HE was on the earth and being tempted, HE defeated the devil with the WORD of GOD and we can to.  Now think of this for a moment, what a GREAT loving GOD that would send HIS only
beloved SON to the earth to buy back our salvation, relationship with GOD by HIS own BLOOD!  What a GOD we have!

As I said, we were not meant to travel this earth “WITHOUT HIM” and we do not have to be without HIM.  If you want to know this Savior, do this:  Ask JESUS into your life and your heart, ask HIM to forgive you of your sins, ask HIM to take over your life and live HIS life in and through you, to help you, to lead you into all truth and live for HIM now and all through eternity!  Tell HIM you will serve HIM the rest of your life.  HE “will” accept you.  I say that because some people have been rejected by several people during their lives.  GOD is not like that…. HE created you and HE loves you.  HE is FAITHFUL!
HE will help you to walk with HIM and HE will never leave you.  If you said this prayer, then I say to you, “Welcome to the family of GOD”!  GOD bless and keep you!
