Poem
The most troubling moment Is when we see our selves clear We must salvage and own it We must battle the fear Flaws come in sight Jaws of the night They are even more clear When you turn on the light They won’t disappear Like our childhood fears Irrational terrors From our younger years Very much real Unyielding steel Once discovered We foot the bill You’ll never rewind You’re no longer blind You’ve let lose, the demons Who live in your mind
