Poem

The stars shine bright in your eyes .
As the morning turns to a yellow sunrise.
Laughing you whistle a tune.
Getting out of your bed into the bathroom.
A hot shower tingles your skin.
You think positive of what the day brings.
No heartache no weakness no negative thoughts.
Just happiness and music with your breakfast oats.
Nothing can make you feel down and done.
As you prepare for the travel to work .
You can walk and enjoy the sun no need to run.
You smile at the faces coming your way.
From the old man with his dog. 
to the child with a toy blue frog.
An unusal amphibian colour it seems.
Not everything in life is Green.
Stopping at the coffee shop to buy a drink.
And to take a few moments to think.
Although work will be long.
The friends there will keep you strong.
The only thing that will be on your mind.
Will you meet a man who is like you Kind.
Will he walk through the door.
And make you float up off the floor.
Put you in a daze make your thoughts seem a haze.
You spend so much time alone but need a companion.
Someone to make your house a home.
One day the perfect partner will arrive.
You will have always love, Tenderness no strife.
But do you prefer lovers or being a wife.
Its not your thing is it to be owned.
You like that occassional divide.
Some times its good to sleep alone.
To rest to recuperate to switch off your phone.
No one knows where you are what you do.
No cares for the world or what others do.
So long as you can shut the door and just be you.
