Life has beaten so many people down it has really taken its toll
satan has taken their crown and soon will take away their soul
Making life feel so empty in having nothing left on the inside
That you no longer feel free despite everything you have tried

Such feelings we can't diminish as they batter our inner core
We are still so far from the finish, but we can't run anymore
All of us will need a helping hand at some point in our life
Someone to say I understand and know all about your strife

Someone who is always by your side keeping enemies at bay
To you He has never lied and has carried you most of the way
He is your Lord and Savior, the King who died for His servant
Looking down upon you in favor in all the Mercies He has sent

He only sees your perfection in washing away all your defilement
In you He sees A Reflection of the perfect love that He has sent
All that Glory right beside you and all you need to do is to ask
So whatever you're going through remember, in His Glory you bask
