Poem

They sit in Ivory Towers
Looking down as the smoke rises
seeing faces full of pain

They cannot fathom why
They hear the Children cry
hunger in their stomachs they have never felt

They toss money off the towers
hoping they turn into flowers
they changed nothing

They cannot think how to fix
On their fiddles they play
wanting to change the world

Oh only if those in the Ivory Towers really cared
All they do is what makes them look good
 but giving real hope they never understood

I sit in a hovel cold and wet
i wonder how bad this can get
I cry and mourn the blind


And so will be be slaves soon to come
held hostage by the dumb
only time will tell


If they cared and done what none have dared
If they thought about what they do
All could live as humans

Cognitive thinking connects the dots
I breath for change that works
I want love not hate

Build Hope not rockets
Make Love not war
Save lives not end them

Better to be wise than smart
Better to love for real than just saying
Think of the children they are slaying


The Owl is wise
The Fox is smart
Which do Trust
