In the days before you go
Should I question Gods life lesson
That has you departing on clouds from heaven
You were always there for all my important starts
Teaching me how to love from deep within my heart
Life with you has been the most amazing part
Ahead of your own time
We are left to understand it's by Gods command 

Taking care of each other
While we learned to discover
Our vulnerable sides as we ran for cover
The qualities you possess as a mother
Living life's highest moments with you as my lover
Painting a beautiful picture cover
To carry me through life's journey with another
Leaving me to wonder will our paths be reunited
On some far off distant day

Is this how God sorts it all out in his own way
So it's possible for us to play another day
This is so hard for me to say
A love as powerful as ours will be met with so much praise
God knows I loved you for all our yesterdays
I can see your spirit slowly slipping away
In my heart I know we have said all that we need to convey
Our life together like a perfect ballet

Life is full of many pathways we must follow
That leads to one big display
Of the day I make it to heavens way
I love you more then my words can say
It will all be worth it on that special reunion day
When our souls will dance with delight

That will put our journey back into flight
Gods way to make it all fit just right
When we ignite into heavens light
Together for eternity one beautiful sight
That makes all of it worth the fight
Turning it full circle in Gods guiding light
