She was all over the map
In feelings, and terror
Of things that could happen

She could not be contained.
The best of us tried.

The screaming
The shrieking
The terror
It was all real 
To her.

Her 
Madness
Only made
Sense to
Those who
Were 
Also consumed
By the same
Type of
Madness.

The demons
Unleashed
Could never
Be calmed
Again.

We
Tried
But we could
Not relate.

None of
Us had
Ever experienced
This insane type
  Of Wildness.

It takes a special
 Dose of abandonment
And neglect to
Create this level
Of distrust
And
Self-protection.

It takes a special
Child to live
Through this
Kind of
Crazy.

She was
Consumed
With mad,
And none
Of us could
Help her
Because
There
Was no
Way to
Relate.

No reference
Points, as none
Of us had
ever experienced
This kind of
Wild.

She had to
Be given
Paints and
Inks and
Learn to settle
Herself down,
In her own
Way,

In her own
Time, creating
Her own kind of
Wild.
