You know I would never tell anyone
Last time either one of fell from our word
Was a decade or so ago
I believe we both have grown
Trust me nobody will know
You act like this is our first go
When I have never spoiled the show

It's absurd that you would question my word
When the only incidence that ever occurred
Was when you let my secrete out that day
I would never play you that way
Or would I betray your trust in any way

I forgave you that day mine slipped away
So to be fare quit staring
At me with that glare
Please don't judge me unfairly
Trust me if I didn't care
Then you would need a lot more than just prayer

Have we not learned we do not need to be concerned
I think you better just rethink this
Before this friend ends up on the miss list
Would not want you to forfeit our friendship
By abandoning ship and throwing a fit

You should never forget when we met
You know I have never been a threat
So trust me you will have no regrets
I will be sure I don't let you down
Because your secret is safe and sound with me
