I fear the day our words cease to say
How much I need your love in every way
As our love is tested in such a mind-altering play
You know I pray in every way for God to take us away
Just like we planned it from the very first day
We knew our love was here to stay
 
Everything has been on display in such a bad way 
Oh God, why are we living in such disarray?
Isn't our love powerful enough to sway
What holds us up and keeps getting in our way 
So again I pray in every way 
For God to take us away  
To our love that is here to stay

I ask in your son's name 
Oh please God from up above
Won't you show us the love 
That came straight from you?
When you revealed
What a blessing had come our way
 
Because we trust you on all our pathways 
From the love you bestowed upon us 
From our first day 
We planned our getaway 
So as we approach another day 
It's with that same love we pray
To you from our first day

Oh, how I pray this to send your way  
Because of the love that's underway
It's as beautiful as a ballet 
That you want to replay
In every way day after day 
So very true according to what
