When the sun drops out of sight
On a full moon night
When the moon shines so bright
All across the night
With God creating this amazing sight
When we are able to just walk all through the night
Without any synthetic light to find our way

Then I think how God has put his blessings on display
In the most powerful way
Satan promises to take all that light away
If man should choose to play his way
Darkened like a no moon night
Your world plunged into fright
To spend eternity without light

That brings Gods world into sight
Gods people know the bible is right
The ones left sitting on the fence uptight
knowing deep inside
That Satan has taken you for a ride
Gods open arms waiting for all
Who will hear his mighty call
That do not wish to fall into the bowels of hell

Where your loved ones won't hear you yell
The smell of death and destruction
Will be your only smells
Satans trickery so full of lies
Trying to bring the world to its demise
It's never too late to demonstrate
Until now you were dealing with a fake

Our God who controls our fate
Will never make you wait
Look into your heart he is never far apart
Tell him you wish to be a part of his kingdom
That leads us to freedom
When we receive God into your heart
Then your life won't come apart

He gives us a fresh new start
Like a shooting dart
He will take Satan completely apart
In your new life, he restarts the important parts
Know the peace he brings
Every time he swings his might
He will light every step of your way
So you no longer will fear
The day when he will be coming back here

To deal with Satans hellish atmosphere
The time is near
He is waiting to hear from you today
So when you pray be sure to say 
God is the light that lights up the night
He is the one to show you way
And that does not change
From day to day
