Poeticize

Poeticize means to give something a poetic quality, either by writing about it in a heightened, imaginative way or by turning plain language into verse. A writer may poeticize everyday life, making ordinary details sound more lyrical, symbolic, or emotionally charged.

Example

She poeticized the train station:
red tail lights drifting through fog,
a coffee cup steaming like dawn,
and every farewell made small and bright.
