Pen-Name

A pen-name is a writer's or poet's adopted name used instead of a real name when publishing work. Poets may choose a pen-name to protect privacy, separate different kinds of writing, or create a distinct public identity.

Example

She signed her love poems under the pen-name Rowan Vale,
leaving her legal name off the page.
