Homostrophic describes a poem made up of stanzas that all follow the same pattern in length, meter, and rhyme scheme. A homostrophic poem keeps the same stanza form from beginning to end, unlike a poem that changes stanza structure as it goes.
Example
Four lines in each stanza, each with the same rhyme pattern:
Wind over water, silver and slow,
Takes the reed beds as evening falls;
One small light in the windows below,
One soft bell from the harbor calls.
Cloud over hilltops, purple and high,
Drifts where the last red sunset stayed;
One pale star in the changing sky,
One road fading into the shade.
