An antibacchic foot has three syllables arranged long-long-short in quantitative meter, or roughly stressed-stressed-unstressed in English accentual verse. It is the reverse of a bacchius. Poets and students usually meet the term when discussing classical meter or lines built from repeated three-syllable feet.
