Poetry: Colorful Ejective Burst Of Adjectives

To any poet, poetry is best defined as a colorful ejective burst of adjectives!  Although the subject or topic of a poet’s masterpiece may well revolve around a noun (person, place, or thing), 75-90% of its content may well-be a sudden burst of highly-detailed adjectives describing the current kinetically-active verb of the poet’s emotion, feelings, and sentiments.

Because the “power” of poetry is focused mainly on its descriptive detail, I highly-recommend new and beginning poets to focus on applying a “5-Senses Challenge” to all your masterwork by including the following:

• Sight               *          Taste              *          Scent
• Sound            *          Touch
