Hi - I want to use an excerpt from Jamilla Strong's poem "Rice and Beans" in an academic book I am finishing. I have tried emailing her through this site, asking for permission, but she has not replied. Does Poetrysoup hold copyright on these poems? How can I secure permission? Many thanks.
