Walking down the street, My anger is boiling, Put my headphones on, “I live a Looonely Avenuuee, aaw yessir” I start to sing
“Cupid, draw back your bow,” Happiness speeds up the blood in myflow “Loose yourself in the moment you ownit..” Boys on the basketball court areplaying themselves fit,
A little later, driving past Walmart, “I told you I was trouble, ya knowI'm no gooood” Man..I would've seen her live if Icould, “Chain, chain, chain...chain offools” Now we're left with music industriestools,
The one thing I can always rely on tomake me smile, Knowing couple hundred tunes come alivewhen I twist this dial, They're so different, But all the same, Explaining different kind pain, Struggles and triumphs everyday Telling their story just to me, There's my connection, That's the way musics' supposed to be
