I am a 29 year old Welsh girl,with a great sense of humour.
Single by God's choice.
Am a registered Staff Nurse/Midwife, have had serious operation recently but now back in work albeit on shorter hours.
I live alone, except for Tilly my old Boxer bitch I rescued 6 months ago, she had a shyte life, but is happy beyond words now.
I love all your comments, some make me laugh out loud, some make me hmmm. lol
If I should ever miss a congrats. from any of you, please dont take it as an insult, just maybe a large vodka and coke got in the way.

first day on a ward mayhem

Can i tell you a story about my first day on the wards after finishing training, one I have never lived down.
Was asked to collect the dentures from the elderly folk as it was time for them to settle for the night.
Which i dutifully did, the next morning rinsing them after their night dunking in steradent, Iwent into the ward to give them back to their rightful owners. What they had ommitted to tell me and being extremely nervous last night I hadnt marked the owners names on the collecting tubs.
Can you imagine the mayhem as people were trying on teeth as though they were in a tooth store.
One old dear was grnning so happily, I thought thank goodness for that, only to find out she didnt even own any teeth, you trying getting a set of dentures off someone, who doesnt want to return them.
Eventually all was sorted and after a strict talking to by a Head nurse who could hardly contain the laughter, I am to this day remembered as the nurse with the dentures story.
Hope that put a grin on a few faces ..
