Life is an infinite continuum, feeding on its own death. Our mortality, real and imagined, lives within. We can always see these truths with a discerning eye. The mirrored images that seem like two, are but one, a parallel universe whose paths cross like a wisp of wind, we are all of one time, like prose and poems written in separate centuries, but of the same struggle. There, always there, truth never hides, except for those who don’t seek it for fear of what they might find. From light to dark we fly in different directions though toward the same destination. What matters is what we do on our flight. Do we see the paths of leaves as they float on the pond, the reflection of the sky beyond, and the trees, who have now shed their leaves but will reflect full in the spring; beneath the leaves, the roots of the lily pads and the stare of a wary carp who looks from his world as we do from ours? We must find time on our journey to read, play a game, or simply sit and wonder at the marvels around us, for death will come in its own time…

Thanks to All From Chris

I hope Craig gets the formatting right :P

The attention pointed towards my direction this week,
embarrassed me; though in a good way.
I was hit with a bout of shyness so strong,
I didn't know wot I would say, nor how I would 'act'
if I openly returned to PoetrySoup.com.

I was taken aback by the support, encouragement,
by the kind words left by those of you who decided
to stick-up for me. It means a lot.

So a huge thank you to those of you who stuck-up for me.
You are awesome!
I am the kind of person who, Alzheimer's aside,
will not ever forget these types of actions.
I stay loyal with gratitude no matter wot types of disagreements
might occur in the future.

Speaking of, Craig was very supportive of me
even though there was a time when the two of us tried
to figuratively claw each others eyes out(lol).
His ability to transcend differences, to turn past adversity
into positive support and encouragement, is wonderful.

Now, these next words aren't contrived, nor was I coerced
by TPS in any way.

Throughout my ban, TPS kept open a line of communication with me.
No matter wot differences have occurred in the past,
I have always made sure to be clear with TPS how I am grateful
for them creating, maintaining PoetrySoup.com, offering a platform
for me to post my work, to engage in poetic communion with peers.

During our communication, I continued to express this very sentiment,
even if my ban was permanent.
I have come to a point in my life where I do not want to hold and project
ill feelings, hate, or vengeance towards another.
To do so creates a poison within me.
Not only do I then poison myself, but this poison also ripples outwards,
touching my loved ones.
I want to also thank TPS for lifting my ban.

I noticed that now Premium Members have the option to choose whether
or not their poems are displayed on PoemZoo.com.
This is obviously great for someone like me to see.
Now, with my past of having been an Anarchist and Hippy,
amongst many other things, I intrinsically have authority issues( I have
since been assimilated back into society hahaaaa!) .
I am not a fan of too many rules and regulations,
though I do see the value within a pure system of law.
As far as PS is concerned, I am glad to see some of the new, openly-stated
rules that have been added to the list, especially the announcement
of site moderators being added into the mix.

I hope these appointed moderators will be as unbiased,
as neutral as possible, in order to help curtail several issues of unrest
existing on this site.
Moderators will have the opportunity to quell the issue of members
repeatedly breaking the rules out in the open
without the repercussions of account suspensions or bannings;
to do so fairly, with objective reason, and without favouritism.
A Lifetime Premium Member should be held accountable
for his/her actions just the same as anyone else.

Again, a huge thank you to everyone who offered support.
I am not a hero. I am far from a saint(lol).
I am simply someone who stands up for wot I believe in
and offers an opinion in a very stubborn, bull-headed manner.
No matter how dangerous, seemingly stupid and controversial
it is to always stand-up for wot I believe in, I do so.
But as far as PS goes, in an almost paradoxical manner(lol),
I will do so within the rules and regulations.

Thank you, kindly.

Chris - I just got very slightly involved with this whole affair and it's a little crazy with a problem at its core. I don't really know what happened with you or why you were banned (what a strident word). On only a few occasions we have interacted, but I am so FOR you - especially after your clear, understanding, humble thoughts. I just read your most recent poetry and wow. What a talent you are. love, Kathy

Chris I have not been here in a while so I have missed the hoohaa but whatever happened I am very glad you are still here as you are one hell of a poet and a very good writer who sees the rational side of things that may be missed. I too will always stand up for what I believe is right and I firmly believe you belong here. David…

all's well that ends well... the most important realization for me here is FEEDBACK!... maybe, we just need to ask a poet, TPS, anyone what exactly did a person mean if s/he wrote something we quite didn;t understand.. we PRESUME and react, not knwoing the real score... cheers to all of us for keeping the unity here!..

CHRIS........Welcome home! I admire your stance....before AND after the "event". A great example to all of us. I'm so glad TPS is willing to be flexible. It has restored my faith in this beautiful place that brings me so much joy. Way to go EVERYONE. Craig....you rock! You took the risk of being "axed". That took courage as well. Yes, it is good to know...we are all ONE, despite our difference in ideologies, cultures, and poetic styles of expression. We are ONE!

TO TPS: Well, it's time to swallow my pride and put my best foot forward. I owe you an apology for my behavior over the past few days. I'M SORRY. I was really upset and stressed out and I just snapped. That doesn't excuse how I acted and what I said, being upset is never a valid excuse to be rude. I can't promise I won't let it happen again but I can assure you that if it happens I will feel the same remorse that I'm feeling right now. You're a nice person who deserves better, and I hope you can forgive me for the way I've been acting lately. Thanks for your patience.
