Blessings In A New Year

Welcoming A New Year
In a few days the year 2012 will come to its end What memories do we wish we could live all over again? We think of those times while the year passed by Bringing a sense of sadness in our eyes
In a blink of an eye it seems, another year has gone What painful memories still leaves a remnant of our emotional storms? We think of those times as we try so hard to dry our tears Hoping that peace and happiness will be embraced in this coming New Year
Each year passes with its trade marks of good and bad spent Weighing the pros and cons of years that came and went The world is forever changing as our days unfold a different story Still we find ourselves fighting in survival through hard times and worry
The bad misfortunes that happened in the year 2012 we are unable to control Though if we count even the smallest of blessings, 2013 will be welcomed in with hope Praying to God that him and his angels protect us in the world we live in today Just maybe we’ll be able to see a new year unfold that eliminates evil and destruction away
