About Tom Larrow
(Show Details...)
Bloggers PhotoI'm just an average 60+ year old American, raised on a farm in Connecticut. Through the years as a student, U.S. Marine, husband, father and Grampa, I have learned many things in life, the value of freedom, faith, family and to respect all people.  These constant truths have guided me in life and made me the man I am today. In today's world to many people have forgotten this, instead they seek the biggest bank account, best home and the newest things or they expect life to be easy and all their needs should be given to them.
My poems are meant to get people thinking and having the conversations, which I believe are necessary to improve the future of our children.

A Tear is a drop of the pain we hold inside.

Spring flowers that open to greet the sun

Smell the fragrance of earth's impending rebirth

All life feels the sun and begins to feed,

children play in leaves as tree's shed them to renew

If love, hope, joy, children can survive. so can I

Spring is our time to set all things straight

Teach the joy in life to family shedding tears

It's why I put words together telling stories of life, faith and inspiration

Nazi America Blog

"Our children will soon be living in a  fascist society,
and this isn't theory, it's reality.
The wheels are  already in motion, but all are just too blind to see.
Wake Up America and  smell the coffee."

Some people in the nation will always continue to defend the homeland, inspite of politicians papers

We do NOT have a two party system. We have a small group (535 people) who apparently believe they can do all our thinking for us and there is a massive number of people who are satisfied with it as long as it doesn't interfere with their television time or lifestyle. This country is on the verge of becoming a two "class" country. If "we the people" don't WAKE UP, then "we the people" deserve what we get. From Benjamin Franklin. "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Respectfully, this blog doesn't seem to offer a sound counter-arguement. Fascism has many faces; by no means does Fascism have to equate to Nazi Germany in all regards. Hitler got his ideas from Americans such as Rockefeller and Carnegie, after they set up eugenics programs in California. Hitler openly declared that people such as Rockefeller are the backbone of his overall dream. When Hitler rose to power, Rockefeller, Carnegie and Ford called him "an exemplary visionary". Rockefeller funneled millions of dollars into Auschwitz as "an investment for the future". Rockefeller was so impressed by the "Angel of Death", Dr. Mengele, he flew to Europe to meet him before Hitler officially started the war. When it looked like the Allies would win the war, Rockefeller tried cutting ties, but the paper trail remained. If one looks at the top 15 signs of a Fascist State, America shows all of them, including the number one Fascist tool of using propaganda to strike fear to unite citizens against a common enemy, whether it be the Jew, the "Reds", or Terrorists. When the seeds of Fascism have been planted in the heart of a Republic's garden, it grows from the inside-out, so when poor souls believe themselves to be "defending the homeland", they are defending the soil of a Fascist State. Aristotle argued that when a Republic(whether it runs under the guise of Democracy, Socialism, Oligarchy)becomes too large and complex, it will ALWAYS lean towards a more centralized form of government and policing, and no matter how adamantly a Republic pretends to be anything but on the outside, it will inevitably become a Fascist State(understanding again that Fascism doesn't mean Nazi Germany in all respects). From the moment when Romans coined the term of Fascism, their arguement has always stayed true against the test of time. Always.

Tom, fair enough. We have some different thoughts on the issue, and this is perfectly fine with me. I don't want to bicker with you the way Craig and I do, that is for sure(one Craig Cornish is all this site can handle haha! Hullo Craig :D) Tom, kudos to you for even thinking about it. One of the main differences we might have, is that I believe people don't need to fully surrender their minds and thoughts....not fully. There are many degrees and variations of Fascism. I would much rather America wasn't leaning towards a more centralized nationalist socialist system.

Fascism is a system of government and it is also based in religious opportunism, but, above all it is a system of thought. The poor souls you speak of, could only be duped by surrendering their minds and thoughts. What you say is a possibility but I don't believe an inevitable result. A fracture to small countries would be more likely.

Nah, maybe again I am missing your point. That is wot I am possibly missing. :P Which Bush are you referring to?

Chris, again, you are missing the whole point and it baffles me why you carry on so, because you know it's all George Bush's fault!
