whiteness contest judged

My Contest is judged. It was judged without favoritism. I read all of the poems at least twice and if they made it to the second round they were read multiple times.
The poems that made it to the third round were picked over until they started to meld into one. Very difficult to decide the winner. Ultimately Carrie Richards took first place,
with her poem White shoulders. It captures all of the senses, she managed to put a soft glow around a special moment in time. I would like to thank everyone who took part in my first contest. 99 poets submitted some one hundred twenty plus poems. Congrats to all who entered. Don't be disapointed if you didn't place, its just one persons opinion and in reality any number of poems could have taken first place.
Just a little side note: A person entered a poem in the contest that was spectacular,
i read it and was contemplating having two first places...then for whatever reason they withdrew the poem. I was tempted to contact the person to tell them to resubmit. but felt it would have ruined the integrity of the contest.Anyhow Carrie has won the anthology,"Poetry Speaks", its both in written and audio form, where you can listen to famous poets recite their poetry. It also has brief biographies of each poet.
To the syntax fanatics, yes your going to find a few blips in some of the poems but you don't toss a rolls royce because it has a scratch.
Thanks again for all the poets who participated. I'll be running another contest shortly that will be out of this world, i just have to work out the details.
