 Hello and welcome. Life towards a man's youth is like an apple, the more you eat of it, the more you smile. Name is Sami Al-khalili, currently studying in Concordia University. Positivity is one answer to most of my questions. Why to be sad and blue when you want happiness to shine? Always smile!
Brown eyes, black hair and mild skin tone, I'm originally from Palestine. I lived in Canada most of my life and had another life in Dubai. Poetry is passion and passion is what drives me. Music is my passion's engine. Life's bitter sweetness is my key!

Hello lovely ladies and gentleman of Poetrysoup, I'm here to apologize for being away for so long. University is a pickle, with social life in dorms, with finals stumbling it's way to my doom hehe, and with my parent's divorce, the lack of poetry has faded yet regained it's potential once more! I don't want to lose those dear to me here in Soup, I felt always welcomed and comfortable here. I just hated the poetry I wrote after my parent's divorce, being pessimistic is extremely easy while facing reality as a man. We all sometimes wish we would just run as a 6 year old into the wild wind on top of a hill all of eternity. Poetry that shows a side of darkness and depression is not bad yet I want to expand my emotions! Expand my skills! And expand my vision. Depression has only one look, and it's downwards. Shall I hold my tears of anger and stress into a flower of hope and prosperity. Basically, I'm back :)
