His Eyes

Blog Posted:3/23/2009 1:04:00 PM
Today, the day where I was awakened from the sunshine bursting from the window. Awaken to the smell of coffee and the taste of tooth paste. Sitting down awaiting what today brings me. I crave for adventure, I crave for love. Yet desperation isn't part of the plan nor is impatience. The day passes by slowly as the clock ticks at 5 30 pm. A phone call from my manager says we have a meeting, an urgent reunion of new friends or potential foes. He arrives late as usual, as the 5 min ride to the closest cafe seems like hours. We discuss the pros and cons of this party and decided what its good for us. Trust is everywhere since the economical crisis has even affected the minds of oh so confident. As I watch one of my colleagues yells at my manager displaying rage and profound anger. Yet the silence of my manager disturbs me, his eyes water up yet his face seems like bulldog. His eyes looking at the floor, he relaxes himself and looks at my colleague, then once again looks down, distress and not really confident. He was something, he was something big. Still a wealthy man, he smiles towards how weak he has become. He smiles at me and begins the trust he wants from me. Should I neglect such weakness or accept the man for who he is or even maybe change him?? All what I see is a man beggin' of help, yet in the same time, gives the traditional lies of story-telling, trying to convince my other colleagues that when time comes, money will roll in fast. I look at this man and I find a child, yet when I look deeper, I see a man wrecked yet his ship has not sunken yet, his eyes beg for me, beg for aid and support.<br>

well well, I helped him, actually still helping him into today. And apparently, he keeps mentioning he is in debt, and well always be there for me. It's quite funny, how trust is so easily fondled with today. But yeah I helped him, and felt good after.

Deborah is so funny, but, anyway, this is intriguing...What did you do, my friend? Ruben.

More than what you did ... the discovery is essential, for when you saw him you must have discovered yourself, your mission, your role, your purpose no longer at the margins of need, and your heart's new defiance to love at all cost. Lovers and mothers are protectors of the vulnerable beast. Love, Shango.
