greetings, dear soupers!...this contest is about sensory images based on synesthesia… synesthesia [sin-es-thee-zia] in poetry: an attempt to fuse
different senses by describing one in terms of another... an example of synesthetic description comes from John Keat’s poem, Endymion:
“….lost in pleasure at her
feet he sinks,
Touching with dazzled lips her starlight hand. “ (The interplay of sight and touch is
