Bloggers PhotoMy Biography is Coming Soon... Hello all you wonderful people, this is one of the friendliest sites I have visited and really enjoy the poetry and friends I have made.
A lot of my poetry comes from the university of life, my subjects though sometimes controversial are never meant to hurt, I as most do poets I draw from love, hurt, sadness and the environment. I have served in war, worked in famine and disaster relief, enduered pain, joy and dissapointment as most of us have. My only hope is that you enjoy some of my work as much as I enjoy yours. I am English but live in the centre of France, the area is called the Morvan, mainly national forest, lakes, beauty for all seasons, I live here and care for my mother 84 years old and partialy sighted, bright as a button and great company. Well just a little insight, keep the ink flowing Daniel.  Just to say the two dogs my best friends, the lab x husky is called Solo, the black collie with white feet is called Socks, they show so much loyalty and love, humans could learn a lot.

There Again What Do I Know

How strange we are, how we seem to dote on the day or hour. As if it were to be our last, to be consumed by the now and take the tomorrow's for granted. We all seem so engrained in the here and now and look no further than sunsets fall. It is almost as though tomorrow has become a swear word and used or seen with disdain. Are not tomorrow's the dreams of our today's, the hopes and wishes of futures born. These handshakes of fate are not to be feared but taken with vision. Visions that have no boundaries nor barriers to contain our endeavours in our individual search for fulfilment. Let our tomorrows be of love and faith, of futures dreams and realization, close the doors on anger and hate, put war and avarice onto the ashes of yesterday. In the hands of tomorrow the world sits, and we the conscience must bear responsibility. Yes live today but seek beyond, do not become cocooned in the mundane day to day state of existence. Religion, Gods, colour or creed the tomorrows are yours, yours to endorse with your own personal perception on life. No tomorrow is not a swear word, reach for it, “Carpe Diem “.

I love the blog Daniel...wise and insightful. Let us look forward, and not with fear or sadness. Not always an easy task, however, faith in tomorrow and fortitude is our hope. I've read your wonderful bio, so nice to know more about you. (oh, by the way, like you, we loved a wonderful old Husky for many years, and a border collie with the same name "Socks" for many years. So I have a little in common with you :) Merry Christmas Daniel!
