John Heck Needs Our Help

Hey, Soupers... Bad news. John Heck is one of Sandy's Victims and he needs our help. These 3 messages has been posted on Facebook 10 minutes ago.
--Hey facebook, this is John's cousin, he said it is a war zone in Gerittsen Beach. He has lost everything as his apt was flooded to the ceiling. I know it is difficult to reach parts of brooklyn, but please help if you are in the area. He wanted me to post that he is in dire need of flashlights, c batteries, contractor bags, work gloves, tarp, water, candles, 32/30pants, sm/med shirts, socks If anyone is able to get through to Gerittsen Beach, 3 Ira Court, with any donations and or help, it would be greatly appreciated.
--He has to ration power to his phone, so it is kept turned off. Please leave a message for John at 917-678-xxxx *and he will return your call. Thank you for any help that you can give. Please feel free to call for moral support, it would mean a lot to him, trying to keep him strong.
--Please , spread the word, he is really down and out.
They have no water, sewer, power, gas, food, clothes...nothing.
