I am NOT eating Guinea Pigs [No red meat for Ma]

Well folks tomorrow nights the night. Smokey's Blonde and beautiful baby/cat/sitter for big boys dropped by to cuddle him this afternoon and will be moving in to morrow. [On lucky tom-cat here!]

I have been putting off looking at the itinerary and guess what I won't be in the ruins of Manchu Picchu on 12/21/12? [sigh] well I will be in the sacred valley, on the Urubamba River floating on a raft!

This is the beginning of the Inca Trail, I don't swim well so let's hope we are indeed floating and NOT shooting any rapids!!

The 22nd we will travel by train to Aguas Calientes and from there to Machu Picchu on the 22nd. Christmas day will find me outside Cuzco exploring Sacsayhuaman?

Then on to Kenko where I will view a healing ceremony a curandero performed by a medicine man using coca leaves ;)

Some places have internet so I may check in

PLEASE send prayers my way for strength and courage

[I know you all think I'm formidable but it's a ruse* LOL.]

The country looks beautiful. Don't believe I will ever see it in person, but am so happy you could go. Hold on tight through those rapids and keep us posted.

Not formidable, but strong, perhaps a tad tenatious (something I call my daughter, so I see it as a virtue ;) ) and just an awesome gal. Have fun! The healing ceremony sounds awesome. Aw shoot on missing the tying of the Sun, but hey, where you WILL be? Man, that sounds exhilerating. Gotta fly. Much to do here, too. Prayers of course sent. I gotta good feeling about this, and I'm told I'm scary-accurate about these 'intuitions'. I wrote a sonnet that I am thinking of pulling as it is frightening that I wrote it BEFORE the violence occured... I had an odd radar about things. I close my eyes and see a friendship, a meeting for you. Don't think I'm weird. :D I'm only strange. Happy trails xox

I suppose you had all your shots and that you remember your visa(s).... Other than that, I think this is a holiday which would be something to write home about. Praying for your safe return and looking forward to an amazing tale from you upon your return. Love and safe travels. Su
