Good morning Soupers!
AN UPDATE: I have just received a notification that I have been nominated on Dazed's page (a circulation in access of a quarter million subscribers) as one of the Best Poet. It is World Poetry Day today and they had an international drive to find the best poet (dead or alive). I am indeed honoured by this nomination.
It is Human Rights Day in South Africa today. What do I care about? I care about the enslaving (often very subtly) of the human soul.
Poets throughout the centuries have been the "voice" of the people. Grook poetry was one such example where a poet had used his art to communicate with the people (the subject of one of my a previous blogs).
In celebration of Human Rights Day, I would like to invite you to pen a one liner defining poetry and share it with us here.
