I was born in the Beautiful Berkshire Hills in Western Massachusettes Growing up in Foster Homes in the 50's I never knew of Family LOVE or LOVE at all I was Married on 8/25/71 I was Widowed on 8/25/71 my Black Heart still Exists with-in my POETRY, My Family
"POETRYSOUP" Keeps me going My Mentor "Carol Brown" was with me from the Days of POETRY.com I will redo this Bio when I know more about HOW to do it I spent 15 years in High School no extra Education when I read some of the Bio's on site I think' am I a POET? Hello my SOUPER Family, Hope this finds YOU and YOURS Healthy and High in the Spirit.
Please Forgive me; I was going to say something else but I read Harry Horsman's POEM
"THE MOST OVERUSED WORD ON THE PLANET" last night. I was looking through my archive folder last night and saw that I have not finalized my contest "If I had a Broken Heart". It has been sitting in limbo for quite awhile. I will be working on that this week. Since I won't say "The Most Overused Word on The Planet" I'll use the old man excuse.I had my second stroke 2 years ago and it left my right arm and hand partially paralyzed. That is my typing hand (index finger really) It takes me a long time to write a comment or post a POEM. Then there is my mind, sometimes it takes me all morning to find it. I also noticed I have a lot of "To be Continued POEMS" that I have not posted the continuation
Bad Me! I'm particularly suprised about how istarted my first Haiku with the series "Grace"
Now some off the Older POETS; no wait, some of the Senior POETS, that's not what I want to say either. Some of the Poets that were on the Soup when I joined may have read. My ? is should I repost them so all 5 parts are together or post the last two series and make YOU look back for the first 3 series?? - Somber tears,I cried
