 Retired from the printing business in 2011...now happily living in Ponchatoula, LA close to my wonderful (and enormous) family. The bio picture is me holding one of my six great-grandchildren...I spoil all of them rotten because that's my job.

I had always been a strict rhymer until I re-discovered Wallace Stevens... 'Martial Cadenza' (Set during WW1 where he was an army ambulance driver) and 'No Possum, No Sop, No Taters' (about winter) are two of my favorites...I tried to paste them both on this blog but it came out all screwed up (what am I doing wrong, Cyndi?)... So if you would like to read them you'll have go to the internet (highly recommended reading!) If you look up 'Martial Cadenza', please make sure you try to find the complete version...Several sites only had partial versions... Two other favorites would be Robert Frost and the master Sonneteer, Edwin Arlington Robinson (Andrea, you ever heard of him?)
