I have had no problem with the new changes and it is nice to be able to get to my comments boxes so easily now. Thank you for trying to accomodate such a diverse group of soupers. Thanks, Joyce

One thing I feel would improve contests is to give the host the power to delete poems that do not come close to the rules of the contest ie. I want a sonnet and people are posting haikus

Me too! That's what I talked about it my soupmail to them that no one ever answered. They didn't even respond below so maybe I am person non grata? I don't know but I would like the ability to kick poems that don't fit the contest out of the contest!

Tho I like a friends network... I fear it'll develop cliques that keep many out... I could be wrong and enjoy it... I like where blogs are the network because they seem to be open to all and encourage participation. I would like to be able to click on a spot organized for PS problems where things aren't working. Perhaps under 'resources".

A quick question where do I find the comments from others on my poems on this site. In box gives me soup mail and out box shows the comments I make so where is comments left by others? phyl

On another not: many poets including myself, agree you should limit the numbers of poems we can submit in one day. I think 5 a day is very reasonable.~ Just the other day a poet posted over 30 poems, and another poet posted over 10 different poems including others that are constantly posting over 5 poems a day. It is a poem of the day killer. This is one of the reasons I don't post as much. anyways..i hope you are considering that change... love pd

Many of us here at the soup, feel TPS should limit the amount of poems every individual poet can post a day. anything over 7 poems is absurd...

Soup, poets hardly use the chat room. Maybe you can add a feature that allows us to talk to each other through an open chat box on the side of our incoming poems. Other sites have a small simple chat box out in the open. The chat box here is to complicated.

I'm not a life time poet, but~~~ How come were they removed from the front page. I see only the PM's.... I know you can look them up by clicking by on the side of "PoetrySoup News" but, come on they deserve to be posted above all your PM's... it might inspire others to join your life time poets... either than that i do not mind the changes.. except the one on the contest page from a while back... thank you soup. for all you pull...pd

Lifetime poets are identified by the crown next to their name. Also, they are on the "Soupers For Life" tab on the home page.

I like seeing the pictures of the top community builders here! And I don't mind all the changes. But please can you restore my ability to use the backward arrow when I am commenting from one of my poetry pages and trying to go back to it again and again. Also so I can get back to contest pages easily again or navigate old pages of my poetry friends. The arrow key was so useful to do those three things and I really miss it!
