Fairly New I am hardly important have some skills with hands (lapidary Artisan bench Metalsmith) and words. I always look hoping to do or create something adds to the world even if my name is never remembered. It is a small way I give back for my existence. Being truthful I grew up late it made for a lot of lonely time but finally the child's heart I was hiding did mature and love and some small wisdom became mine. I have told others that those like me what I have named adult onset poets tend often to come to poetry because of some solitary struggle against inner demon's. At 66 I know the tap on the shoulder is closer but I am content when it does arrive as I have felt love and closeness understand caring my only qualm is did I do enough?
