What is your favorite song ? - Deb Wilson's Blog

Hi everybody---I was just thinking about the atmosphere I create when I am going to create! I like to listen to music and how loud it is depends on what I'm doing~For example when I'm making crafts I like it louder~when writing I like it turned down just a bit~Now as for what I listen to I have mixes of all my fave songs ~ This got me to thinking about what my favorite songs and artists are~Currently I am really liking "Wagon Wheel" with Darius Rucker(of Hootie and the Blowfish fame)~~But that is just one of many~Yet I'd have to say when I hear that song I am really happy! And yes I sing along LOUDLY "cos I know the words by heart~~My all time favorite song is "Layla" by Eric Clapton~~I even named my kittie after it! So what is your favorite song  or songs? And do you listen to them when you are writing? I know some people like complete quiet when they write but not me! Usually I like soft rock,classic rock,country or oldies from the 60's and 70's~~This is good writing music to me! What about you? Tell us some songs you like best especially when you are in a creative mood? And what genre of music do you listen to the most? Thanks and have a lovely day!

Eric Clapton teams up with the late Duane Allman for some of the best guitar playing ever. That's Duane's guitar screaming and wailing at the end of the song. Duane is considered by music critics to be the greatest slide guitar player ever. The group was called Derik and the Dominoes. I will send you some of it via Spotify. Robin Davis Date: 2/17/2014 4:26:00 PM I like many songs. Especially Country. That is my favorite genre. I've been listening to Westlife lately. Also like some of the songs from Glee. Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, George Straite are some of my fave country. But love a lot of them. Air supply is still good, along with some Barry Manillow. Some oldies also. It's waiting right outside the storm...It's not too late, not while we're living. Let's put our hands out in time." (I chose it for my wedding song) I listen to anything Rod Stewart sings, he is my all-time favorite singer. Also I love to listen to Simon and Garfunkel (The Sound of Silence, A Hazy Shade of Winter) and John Denver (Rhymes and Reasons, & Poems Prayers and Promises. Their lyrics are pure poetry and so relaxing. When I want to be uplifted I listen to Brandon Heath or Jeremy Camp. They are the Christian Rock artists I like best.
