Diamonds In the Sky
I catch my breath as I disappear
into the depths of the sky.
Gazing upward I feel a tear
shining my cheek as I cry.
A diamond's remnants drift on down
to sparkle my doorway.
Crystalized light to take my frown
and find a smile for the day.
Mountain majesty, azure peaks-
this picture that brings me grace.
A wonderment that to me speaks
when I've another day to face.
As daylight ebbs the crescent moon
sparkles like jewels up high.
Starry tapestry unfolds soon
collecting diamonds in the sky.
