Mr Lonely

What will you do all by yourself? No one's left to call your name. You've hidden your soul up on a shelf. Your foolish pride is what's to blame. Mr. Lonely you've got me down so low. Mr. Lonely I'm pleading let me go. Mr. Lonely you worry my heart so. I tried to make life better for you when other lovers had let you down. Yet you had not a heart so true; shattered my world-stomped me down. Mr. Lonely you've got me down so low. Mr. Lonely I'm pleading let me go. Mr. Lonely you worry my heart so. So now I need to walk away. If I don't leave I'll lose my mind It's impossible for me to stay. I'm begging darling please be kind. written by Deb Wilson this poem was inspired by "LAYLA" by Eric Clapton for Giorgio V's contest "A song inspires a poem"
