LONELY AGAIN

Written by: Robyn Blauw

And the loneliness attacks me
Yet once again
And I feel that great hollow
Dig deep in my being

It clamps down inside me
It chokes out my heart
It leaves me so empty
I just want to get out

There are so many people
They gather around
They give me their friendship
They hold out their hands

But deep deep inside me
My being does cry
For the love that I need here
Before I will die

I want maybe too much
I’m not really sure
Don’t think it impossible
Let love through the door

I could reach down inside me
And drag out all the hurts
And throw them as garbage
This life is too short

I sit here and sit here
While life floats me by
Sometimes I just wish
That I would just die

My memories they haunt me
They attack me some more
They steal from me meanings
I don’t know the score

I’m trying so hard here
To just be let free
To take back a life force
That should be my tee
