Under the Wright Conditions

Written by: Aberfoyle Dave

Under the Wright conditions
man can fly.
So thought Orville and Wilbur
and in those days,
folks really named their children
Orville and Wilbur.
Eventually, their dream
was realized;
short hops at first
then longer spanning
continents and oceans.
Till man wasn’t needed,
our eyes in the sky
can keep watch over
Omar and Ahmed.
And these days,
in some places,
folks really name
their children
Omar and Ahmed.
