Expression of a brush

Written by: Sukmawati Komala

painter’s fingers
hold me closely
brought me in a
wonderful destiny

my days
wallowed in
beautiful colors
enjoyed
laughters
flashes of oil paints
each movement
so amazing

without a doubt
guided me in
glides
on white canvas

each sweep
and swing
took me to
a fabulous adventure

I asked the canvas
where I was brought to

while anxiety was appearing
I asked palette
where was
The final stop

Dumb
is the answer
seemed
assured
to stop all complaints

only the owner of the fingers
who understands
only the the owner
of the colors
who knows for sure

as my confusion
was still hanging there

without realizing
before me
has been posted
a wonderful work
dazzled

tired
disappeared instantly
replaced by
pride
and awe

thank you
my gorgeous painter
