The Wild Man

Written by: Terry Burns

Running through the forest on a desperate plight. The tension builds on the edge of night. Lights in the distance, the sound of dogs, desperately seeking a place to hide in the endless bog. The forest echoes with the voices of men as the trail comes to an abrupt end. Facing a wall of impending death. Trapped with no options left. The hairy man releases a howl hoping for rescue from this oncoming crowd. The sound comes closer and the lights grow intense as the guns are lowered and the bullets are spent. When daylight arrives and the shadows grow short, the assembly is surrounded by growling and snorts. As the wild men take their revenge and with the murderers bring to their end.
