A Teenager's Depression

Written by: Cheyenne Nienhueser

A sharp blade to my skin,
another twist of the knife,
can a sister handle this much Strife.
will this hurt ever be cured
without having to take drugs,
Maybe a drink more,
is all I keep telling myself.
The Alcohol and drugs mess me up,
my family cry over what is left of their daughter, and sibling.
Soon spring comes everyone forgets,
It has not been their life that has been treated like it was nothing
but gravel to be kicked around.
If I am gone away from this world will my family miss me,
will my enemies feel guilty,
For having pushed me to do this to myself,
Will that Beautiful voice saying Mommy,
ever wake me up and say hey, I love you.
I believe most of us has as teenagers fought to be reconized for
only our mistakes and the time has come that our lives have finally have yet to begin,
and we will show our enemies who will win.
