Too Short

Written by: Robert Pettit

I was a baby a long time ago. Take a look at these picture I have to show. What happened to that cute kid? I don’t know. Just like anybody else, I had to grow. That purity and innocence flew out the window. When old enough, I was given the heave-ho. With duties and responsibilities, I kept with the flow. A fully-grown adult is what you see here. Strained peas and carrots gave way to pretzels and beer. Are scientists working to keep us young forever? That will be a Nobel Prize-worthy endeavor! My entire life I earned and gave. Any day now, I’ll be put in a grave.
