The Gale

Written by: Emily Schaffer

Her tears fall gently with the morning rain,
She can take it no more, she's going insane.

The agony stabs as the cold bites her skin,
It has ended though it never did begin.

The gales and tempests rage high in the sky above,
As does her heart without his love.

She stands motionless in the cold,
Waiting to see how her furture will unfold.

She needs him now but he cannot see,
She loves him with all her heart, with all she can be.
