Peace within the storm

Written by: raskin bobbins

Rocky shores,
craggy lines,
moss grows softly
in hidden places,
away from the winds beatings.

It's quiet there,
waves rock and roll,
I listen

in stillness
out of the way.

We find peace there,
laying our heads down
on moss.

Finally,
protected from storms.

White pines rise above,
whisper and shiver in the tempest.
Here,
among the sturdy trunks
with deep roots,
it is a place out of the din.

It's nice here.
